Unwanted facial hair affects over 40% of women. The problem occurs mainly on the upper lip and chin and is more common following the menopause.
Our online pharmacy has introduced an effective and easy treatment to reduce the rate of growth of facial hair in women.
Vaniqa cream blocks the enzyme which produces hair in the hair follicle. It should be used twice a day continuously for about two months, when visible improvement should be seen.
Vaniqa can be used at the same time as your usual hair removal regime of plucking or waxing, and is suitable for women aged 12 and over. It is effective for all hair and skin types, but should not be used, if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
It is the only and first prescription cream to be licensed by the FDA and over 500,000 women have used it todate. To obtain Vaniqa, which is prescription only, please follow this link for a free online consultation with our online doctor.

Arthritis affects over 10 million people in the United Kingdom and refers to the swelling of joints and bones leading to pain and difficulty in moving joints.
The main symptoms are pain, swelling and stiffness of the joints, usually the hands and knuckles, but also the knees, hips and spine. Sufferers also experience redness and warmth in the skin over the joints.
There are two main forms of arthritis – osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthitis. Osteoarthritis is more common in people aged over 50 and here the cartilage connecting the bones wastes away over time, with the bones rubbing against each other
.
Rheumatoid arthritis is less common and more painful. The body’s immune system attacks the affected joints and tissues causing swelling and pain.
Gout is a common form of arthritis where there is a build up of uric acid leading to inflammation in the joints, usually the big toe.
Our Online Pharmacy has introduced an online arthritis and gout treatment service, consisting of a free online doctor’s consultation and if suitable a private prescription and medication, all from the comfort and privacy of your own home. We do not treat rheumatoid arthritis, where you should contact your own doctor.
To treat osteoarthritis, we provide a number of medications including Feldene and Traxam gels.
There are also several tablets to treat the symptoms – Arthrotec, Diclofenac, Indometacin, Nabumetone, Voltarol 50 and Voltarol Rapid.

Gout is readily treatable by taking Colchicine tablets. You can also try lifestyle changes consuming less alcohol, red meat and sea food.
To treat osteoarthritis or gout please visit our online doctor.

Our Online Pharmacy now offers a service to boost low female sex drive. Low sex drive usually follows the menopause or a hysterectomy, where typically the levels of testosterone halve. Testosterone is produced naturally by the ovaries and reduces with age.
In studies 70% of women experienced more satisfying sex, whilst using Intrinsa patches. These patches work by releasing testosterone through the skin into the bloodstream. They are invisible, are applied just above the navel and are changed twice a week.
The Daily Mail headline 7th June 2011 stated “It’s not just Robbie (Williams) – testosterone can boost women’s libido too”, and in August 2011 reported that Barbarella star Jane Fonda (73) has been using testosterone for three years to boost her libido.
To see if Intrinsa patches can boost your sex life, you can get a free doctor’s consultation by visiting our Online Doctor.

A recent study showed that Viagra may be associated with hearing loss. Experts in the Daily Mail on Tuesday 24th May 2011 rate the various alternatives:-
Dr Ghosh, their expert, says that he frequently prescribes Cialis or Levitra, as an alternative to Viagra. This is because the effects of Viagra only last for one hour, whereas Cialis and Levitra last for 24 hours. He rated both prescription drug alternatives at 8 out of 10.

The Daily Mail also reviewed Caverject, where you inject into the base of the penis. Here the effects take 15 minutes and last for 30-45 minutes. Caverject
was rated at 6/10 by the expert. Some men have tried and prefer Muse pellets which contain alprostadil. A Muse pellet is placed in the opening of the penis using a plastic applicator. Muse was rated at 5/10.
These four alternatives to Viagra can be accessed via our online pharmacy, by taking a free online consultation with our online doctor.
The Daily Mail experts also reviewed golden ginseng and Prelox tablets which were rated 2/10 and 1/10 respectively.
Other erectyle dysfunction treatments rated were testosterone patches and gels (7.5/10), vacuum pumps (4/10), rubber ring placed at the base of the penis (5/10) and finally surgical treatment, which involves an inflatable device with a pump in the scrotum (8/10).

When you pass urine when you don’t intend to this is known as urinary incontinence. It is quite common, as there are thought to be some three million sufferers in the United Kingdom. It is more common in older people and one in five women over the age of 40 have the condition.
There are two main types - stress incontinence and urge incontinence. Stress incontinence occurs when the pelvic floor muscles are too weak to prevent urination and urge incontinence occurs when incorrect signals are sent between the brain and the bladder. Some people have a combination of the two.
But help is at hand. There are tablets called Vesicare available from our online pharmacy and you can learn more and have a free consultation at our online doctor by following this link.
Other treatments include exercise and electrical therapy.

The Sunday Times reported on 27th March 2011 that some people are put off by the cost of anti malarial drugs, and are then paying for the consequences. The reporter found that the price of the malaria tablets can vary markedly.
Research shows that there were 1,495 cases of malaria in Britain in 2009, with more than half of the victims picking up the disease in Africa. Cost is the main reason why some people don’t take malaria prevention and treatment tablets, with sometimes fatal results.
What can you do? The Sunday Times reported that the cost of a fortnight’s anti malaria tablets with prescription varies enormously from £53.28 at www.PharmacyDirectGB.co.uk to £91.98 at Boots and £112 at the private health clinic at Masta.
So if you want to protect yourself and your family from Malaria and save money, please visit our online doctor for a free consulatation and our online pharmacy for Malarone or Lariam the main prevention and treatment remedies.

Delaying your period is safe and easy to do. Our online doctor can provide a free consultation and prescribe Norethisterone tablets to delay your period. You simply take three tablets a day, three days before your period normally begins. Your period should recommence two to three days after you stop taking the tablets.
Norethisterone tablets cost just £4.80 for 30 tablets. However, they are not suitable if you have a history of thrombosis and they are not contraceptives.
So, how do I delay my period if I take the contraceptive pill? This all depends upon which type of contraceptive pill you take. Our online pharmacy lists all of the main types if you are not sure, or you can ask your doctor or our pharmacist.
With the combined oral contraceptive pill, you take two packets of pills back to back to delay your period.
If you take the monophasic 21 day pill, you miss out the 7 day break. With the every day contraceptive pill, do not take the dummy pills and start a new pack.
With phasic pills, you need to ask your doctor or our pharmacist which ones to miss out. It is more difficult with progestogen only contraceptive pills as you can’t delay your period by changing how you take them.
If you are unsure talk to your doctor or our pharmacist.

Cystitis can be debilitative and very painful, but it is usually easy to treat. Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder, resulting in an urgent and frequent need to urinate, coupled with stinging or pain when passing urine.
Cystitis is more common in women, but does occur in men, where it may be more serious, if untreated. Untreated cystitis can cause kidney infections, so it is important to treat it as soon as possible.
Our online pharmacy, in response to customer requests, has just launched a new cystitis treatment service. It consists of a free online doctor consultation, a private prescription (if suitable) followed by a course of Trimethoprim tablets. A two week course of tablets only costs £1.12 from our online chemist.
Just follow this link to start your consultation with our online doctor.

Our online pharmacy is often asked this question. If your hayfever symptoms start in March, it is most likely because you are affected by tree pollen. Pollen can’t be avoided completely, but a few simple steps can help reduce exposure:
- Stay indoors as much as possible during the pollen peaks – early morning and late afternoon
- Keep windows and doors shut, including when driving
- Avoid large grassy areas like parks
- Wear wrap-around sunglasses outside
- Have a shower and wash your hair if you’ve been outside
- Wash your hands after gardening
- Use air filters at home and in the car
Other tips to help avoid factors that can make symptoms worse:
The key to keeping symptoms under control, without having to change your lifestyle too much, is effective treatment
Our online chemist has a wide range of products available to relieve your symptoms during the hayfever season.
Our most popular hayfever products are Piriton
allergy tablets for £2.45, where you save 0.91p and
Benadryl one a day relief tablets at £3.96 saving £1.14. We also recommend a hayfever relief nasal spray
at £4.27 saving £1.40.
For those of you with an allergic reaction to grass pollen, our online doctor can prescribe Grazax Lyophilisate
tablets, which increase your tolerance towards grass pollen and cost £70.87 for 30 tablets. For Grazax you require a prescription from your doctor, or our online doctor. You should not take these tablets if you are allergic to the ingredients, so please read the enclosed leaflet carefully.
